Executive chef Aaron Ward (ex-Sixpenny and Shell House), recently awarded 2 hats in the SMH Good Food, works closely with producers, farmers and fisherman that all have a great ethos on producing quality product for the guest.
For Ward, cooking is all about the guest experience and breaking down the barrier between the kitchen and the guests.
Inspired by the harbour setting, the space is classic cruising in style with a nautical nod. French blue and white striped linens and custom furniture framed by curated artworks and floor to ceiling windows overlooking Balmoral Beach. The open kitchen and dining area flow through to the Lounge – a place to relax, drink, dine with various eclectic seating arranged on glorious Moroccan rugs.
The focus of our menus is to celebrate seasonal produce and subtly reinforce the coastal setting. Alongside this is a 350-strong wine list and impeccable service.
For a special occasion, The Good Room works as an extension of the space for up to 20 guests.
